Bivás is an award winning filmmaker (Arizona Filmmaker of the Year 2008) and he was named Best Local Filmmaker by the NewTimes Best of Phoenix magazine. Other acknowledgments include Best Director and Best Editor by Independent Feature Project in 2007. He was awarded "The Most Promising Filmmaker" of 2005 at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival.
Camera is the only device that can freeze time, a moment that has passed, can be re-evaluated and passed around on a photographic plate! But a picture is not meant to record time! It is an effort to eliminate peripheral vision and focus on the object that the photographer's emotion has latched onto!
In addition to filmmaking, Bivás pursues photography. His glamour photography has been distributed for the mobile market with clients including Sprint, Verizon and AT&T.
Emotions are vibrations that are induced by the actor's will. They resonate through the eyes. Emotions induce sympathetic vibration! Acting is not seen by the audience, it is felt and responded to!
Bivás is a SAG eligible actor. He has appeared in several feature and short films.
Much like a tuning fork that is used to tune a guitar, music tunes our state of consciousness! Like acting, it is felt and responded to! Like a picture that speaks a thousand words, it is universal in nature. Like the wind beneath the wings, it can carry a moment, a scene, a film and an entire generation!
