Arizona Filmmaker of the year 2008, Best Director-IFP Phoenix, Best Director-A3F 2011, Bivás recently completed directing his latest feature film PARANOIA. He was Co-Executive in charge of Production for DIRTY LITTLE TRICK, an independent film starring Michael Madsen and Dean Cain that played at the Cannes this year and is currently available on demand on Showtime.
In 2008, Bivás was named Best Local Filmmaker by the NewTimes Best of Phoenix magazine and was awarded The Most Promising Filmmaker of 2005 at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival.
Besides being a filmmaker, Bivás holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University and is an independent software consultant for the Aviation industry. He is also a SAG eligible actor and a professional photographer. His glamour photography has been distributed for the mobile market with clients including Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. His fine art collection is frequently bought by private clients. He has also written and produced music albums and singles that are distributed by iTunes and Amazon.
Bivás lives in Phoenix, Arizona and actively pursues creativity in films, music and photography.
