Pour Amour, Porquoi is
a film about a husband that doesn’t care about his marriage, and a
wife who cares too much. Feigning love everyday the same as the
last, the wife puts her faith in anything that might make their
relationship better. Unable to nourish even a plant through life,
the wife tires of living a lie and schedules an appointment with
therapist Roger Melbourne, ready to admit the past.
Unfortunately, Melbourne isn’t exactly what the couple is bargaining
for. Eager to get them out of her office, Melbourne is quick to pass
out new beginnings. New beginnings for everyone, and yet no guiding
words. With nothing resolved, and another plant to care for, the
couple returns to their life. Never questioning the validity of
their assignment. Will this be what makes them happy? Do they even
want it, for love? If not Por Amour, Porquoi.
